The team is made up of international professionals who are experts in the areas of cybersecurity, systems, the blockchain and fintech ecosystem, the financial industry, among others.
The foundations of Sakundi’s professionals are focused on conducting scientific research and using that knowledge to the development of reliable products and services that are beneficial to the blockchain ecosystem and its influence on society.
Team Leaders
Dr. Gómez is a computer scientist with experience in the research areas of information security, machine learning, computing infrastructure setup, and monitoring. He has finished his Ph.D. at the Goethe University of Frankfurt and CERN. His thesis is used as a starting point for the company’s products and he is the owner of the intellectual properties of such a thesis. His responsibilities will be related to the technical and scientific leadership of the organization. Dr. Gomez will lead the research activities and will also be responsible for the design and development of the company products. He will also participate in fundraising activities.
Francis is a computer scientist from the Universidad Nacional of Colombia and a specialist in Project Management from the UNITEC University. His work experience, acquired in 12 years as part of Grupo Bancolombia, allows him to work in administrative tasks, providing extensive experience in infrastructure management and supplier management, as well as technical issues, leading pioneering AWS cloud migration processes, with experience in infrastructure as code automation, especially through pipelines in Azure DevOps.
